WordPress SEO by Yoast is the most widely used plugin for managing your on-page SEO in WordPress. It is a free, powerful utility that lets you manage your meta description and title tags, as well as help with optimizing your internal linking.
Our themes provide integration with the WordPress SEO plugin, mainly through the use of breadcrumbs.
All themes include a default breadcrumb navigation which can be turned on or off. However, when using this plugin the theme will attempt to replace the default navigation with Yoast’s. To ensure this, you must ensure two things:
- Activate the breadcrumbs option from the Customizer.
- Activate the use of breadcrumbs in Yoast SEO
